Madres

"Madres" is a great proposal in these times, as it is the first time in Argentina that the cast and creative team is one hundred percent female. Awarded Best Musical at Premios Estrella de Mar 2022, Nominated for Best Actress in comedy, Best Choreography and Best Production at ACE Awards.

The play was directed by Josefina Pieres, with general production by Valentina Berger (GO Broadway Productions) and Royal Cinema Group. In addition, costume design is by Romina Giangreco; vocal director and musical adaptor, Ana Durañona; choreography by Maria Maxwell; set designer, Julieta Wager; executive production by Florencia Blejer; and Mina Battista as stage manager.

All this overwhelming behind-the-scenes talent is important. Every detail of the musical shows that it was carefully thought out, since motherhood is a sensitive topic in anyone's life.

A modern maternity

Garciarena plays Dani, the pregnant member of the group of friends who dreams of being the ideal mother. Kohan is Maru, immersed in stress, she tries to contain her friend with humor she can hardly sustain. Otero plays Nina, recently separated, she breaks your soul with her story and yet she is the one who sees the light at the end of the tunnel. Puerta is Barbi and she has it all figured out.
